These codes are found: Right Click your Melee ISO in dolphin Properties Gecko Codes: Dolphin will still report a false positive desync if you have different codes checked but most likely, you can ignore it. Super Smash Bros Melee (NTSC) on Dolphin - How to unlock all characters / save file - help needed. The music sometimes has looping issues. Menus and Victory screen may have frame drops but are fine otherwise. On some levels I've had minor to moderate FPS drops. If you're using anti-aliasing with the textures though then it is super wasteful to use SSAA. I will check that out.
I have been trying to work out Super Smash Bros Melee on Dolphin for two days now and I can't seem to get much farther.

Thanks, for some reason I remember using the Ctrl+F to find it but never could, I guess I didn't do it properly though lol. Unlike other games of the same genre, in which moves are entered by button-input combinations, most moves in Super Smash Bros. Melee can be accessed via one-button presses and a joystick direction.
I tried to use dolphin 5.0 a while ago, but I kept getting an error saying that I was missing api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll. Solid 60FPS.

Works well with Dolphin, haven't had any problems. Small lighting bugs in the game but do not effect gameplay at all and are hardly noticeable. Runs perfectly @ 60FPS, only minor lag between menus. Like with the FM HD pack I do NOT recommend using SSAA since all of the textures are already anti-aliased. 60FPS, all modes work, no framerate drop at Fountain of Dreams unless increasing internal resolution. Nintendo's all-stars are ready to battle! A consistent 60FPS was found during playtesting.

We made the textures super sharp, higher res than you would need for 1080p (in an attempt to future proof), when the high res textures are downscaled for your render resolution, they can be very sharp looking, SSAA helps adjust the higher res to the lower resolution. The FPS may drop to 50-55 when playing on large stages or with multiple players.

I get none of the issues listed above even when using NVIDIA w/ OpenGL except for the very minor lighting issues described in Termina Bay.
Fully playable @ 50FPS (PAL version). Just updated to 6198 from a wayyy older build.

Melee is included in tournaments, EVO and Shine. Download Super Smash Bros. Melee (En,Ja) (v1.02). You can fix this by turning off EFB Copies to Texture Only. The built-in Widescreen Hack causes clipping issues.

Sound Off for better performance. Using any AR codes causes the game to crash after the beginning cutscene and before the 'press start' screen. Audio worked fine the first time I loaded it, but now the music cuts out after a few seconds, and I have no idea how to fix it.

Sound glitches are non-existent so long as LLE audio is being used. I'm not really sure what to do to make it work.
Using 'speed up disc transfer rate' makes all music play for 2-3 seconds and stop, but the game continues to run fine. Master codes are not needed and won't work. I sent you a direct link to it, but the link I sent is from the stickied post.

Super Smash Bros Melee Save File Dolphin

The availability and reliability of Gamecube controllers has been a long-standing issue in the Melee community. By now, it is fairly common knowledge that not all controllers are created equally - the disparity in quality of these controllers affects important movement techniques in Melee, most notoriously dashback and shield dropping. Controllers are becoming more expensive, and few players have the luxury of testing a multitude of controllers to find one that is reliable. This creates an arbitrary discrepancy where some players can perform techniques more reliably than others, for the sole reason that their controller is a better pick.
These controller issues are an artifact of Melee design choices that are not favorable for competitive play. This includes a one-frame dashback window and a shield drop window only three units thick - both so precise that minute differences in controller calibration make all the difference.
Universal Controller Fix (UCF) aims to fix these discrepancies, so that any controller is on par with a 'good' controller - without going beyond what is possible in vanilla Melee.
This means with UCF, any given controller will be able to perform techniques as reliably as expected from a 'good' controller. Those techniques will not become easier to perform than they already are on good controllers. They merely become as consistent as what good controllers already allow players to do.
UCF was developed in response to the community's desire to fix these issues, but their reluctance to put any of the existing proposed mods into practice due to unwillingness to change Melee's game design. We hope that UCF becomes the standardized controller fix solution that TOs find reliable to use in tournaments of any size.
